On the occasion of Yanature’s 15th anniversary, Yan, founder of the company and initiator of the hike to the summit of Morne Brabant in 2004, set out on a personal challenge to make fifteen consecutive climbs of the Morne mountain, one per each year he has spent guiding guests from all over the world on it. The dimension of this challenge was collective, since it has been the vector of a fundraising campaign for the Mauritian Wildlife Foundation.
Thanks to our generous donors and Yan’s iron will, we were able to collect almost Rs. 24,000 which were donated to the Mauritian Wildlife Foundation.
